Tomorrow night is the closing reception for the BFA Photography Senior Thesis Show! Come the SVA photo building (214 east 21st st, btw. 2nd and 3rd ave) from 6-8 and check out how awesome my graduating class is, and make sure you check out the 4th floor project room to see some work by all of the lovely and talented people in my thesis class. I’m making some cookies and stuff too, so come for that at least. <3

I’m a 22 year old now.

Try to learn to breathe deeply, really to taste food when you eat, and when you sleep, really to sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough.
I’m super excited to have a piece included in Daniel Cooney Fine Art’s Emerging Photographer sale. Today through May 2. Check it out! A few talented friends of mine are featured as well. Happy Bidding! :)
I’ve been listening to this song on repeat for a while now.

avb95 asked: What are your plans for after college?
This is every graduating senior’s least favourite thing to answer! Haha. But it’s a good question, I suppose. I honestly don’t really have a set plan. After I hand in all my coursework and completely finish everything I have to do, I’m going to have a lot of catching up to do in other aspects of my life. I’ve been neglecting pretty much everything that doesn’t have to do with my thesis for the entire last semester. So, I’m going to start tackling that. I’m also going to be spending a good amount of my time evaluating what exactly it is that I want to do with the rest of my life and what I need to do to accomplish it. I’m going to be doing a lot of job hunting and trying to get as much freelance work as possible (tell your friends)!
