ABOUT
My name is Bridget Marie Badore.
I’m the daughter of Beverly & Lawrence Badore. I’m 20 years old, born in May of 1991. I’m from a small town in Upstate, New York. I went to Phoenix High School and lived in the area my entire life, until going off to college in Manhattan when I was 18. I’m currently living in Brooklyn, New York, and going to school at the School of Visual Arts for a BFA in photography with honors. Right now I’m half-way through my third year at SVA. Plans for the future are unknown. Get to know me.
At home, I live with my mom, younger brother, and stepdad. We have a lemon beagle named Charlie, and two cats. In Brooklyn, I love with my two friends, Emma and Zach.

I’ve been making art my entire life, but I started making photographs when I was ten years old. Some of my first experiences with a camera were when I would steal my mom’s point and shoot and go take photos during Recess. When I was twelve, she gave me my fathers old 35mm minolta camera, and it sparked my passion. I started reading his old notes that he left in the camera bag, and going through chapters of manuals. I didn’t receive formal training for photography until I was a sophomore in high school, where I took black and white darkroom classes. I graduated high school with the gold key for both art, and photography. Right now I work mostly with my little Nikon D90, and my Nikon F100 35mm.

why “b.b. (j’)adore?”
i like to play up the fact that my initials are B.B. and my entire name is strikingly similar to brigitte (ann marie) bardot’s. if you want to make me smile, call me bébé. i also just really like that fact that my last name is just “adore” with a B in front of it.
❀ Lauier-tin (french for laurestine): a small white flower, symbolizing “delicate attentions.”
❀ Héliotrope (french for turnsol): a small purple flower, symbolizing “the intoxication of love.”
❀ The phrase “the sun is my soul mate” was given to me by one of my dearest friends, emily. she is a beautiful soul and a genuinely wonderful human being.
